The Bangabandhu 5th Central South Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championship 2021, organised by the Bangladesh Gymnastics Federation (BGF) on the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, held between October 27-31. Indian team Participated in Men’s Jr. and Sr. and Women’s Sr. category.

Achievements
Indian Sr. Men’s, Sr. Women’s and Jr. Men won the team silver medal at these championships. and Omkar Shinde grabbed the Bronze medal in the All Around final. Sr. MAG Gymnast Omkar Shinde, Sr. WAG Gymnast Karishma Rajput and Jr. MAG Gymnast Nishant Karandikar won All Around Bronze medal in their categories.
In individual apparatus finals Jr. Nishant Karandikar came 3rd on Still Rings and second on Parallel bars with team mate Aayush Khamker who came at 3rd Place and also won bronze medal on Vault behind another team mate Pranav Kushwaha who came 2nd. Pranav also Won Bronze on floor and Silver on Horizontal Bar.
Senior Women’s Gymnast Karishma Rajput won the Bronze on Floor and Soumyashree Das won another bronze on Balance Beam for India.
Sr. Men’s winning started with Arik Dey’s Silver medal on Floor. Deband Dey won India’s first Gold in this championship on Pommel Horse with his flawless routine. Omkar Shinde gave India another 2 Gold on Still Rings and Parallel Bars with Siddarth Verma winning Bronze on Still Rings and Vault and Arik Dey silver on Parallel Bars. Sr men’s end the Apparatus final with Siddharth Verma’s Silver Medal on Horizontal Bar.
