Get ready for Indian Gymnastics League Season 02

The overwhelming positive feedback received following the first season of the Indian Gymnastics League has motivated it’s return once again this year.

A grand opening for the announcement was held last week at the Prabodhankar Thackeray Krida Sankul which included the website launch for the mega event. The event will be held at PTKS starting from the 7th to the 9th of December, 2018. The success last year, with top gymnasts like Rakesh Patra, the IGL hopes to attract more top gymnasts from across the country to compete in this unique competition.

Events like this are important for gymnastics in India if we wish to make it a popular sport.

The format this year remains the same with four teams, with eight gymnasts per team performing specific skills in order to gain points for their team. To make matters interesting, the organisers have introduced the concept of life lines like ‘risky repeat’ and  ‘Loaning a champ’. We are certain that the organisers have come up with more exciting ideas to make it a better experience for the audience and competitors alike. Make sure you don’t miss the mega event this year!

If you are a gymnast and wish to compete, the enrollment process is now open on the website. Indiangymnasticsleague.co.in
