India at 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships
The World Gymnastics Championships were held earlier this year in Montreal, Canada from the 2nd to the 8th of October. The first championships held after the post Olympic year is one where there is no team competition. Gymnasts must contend for individual event and all round medals. Every country is permitted to send a delegation of four female and four male gymnasts.
After the success of Dipa Karmakar last year at the Olympics, the scale should move upward with better performances and more exposure for the gymnasts competing at the international stage.
